Marketing operations and marketing technology is critical to our growth as a business, and we are looking for an experienced candidate to take on a new leadership role at our fast-growing company that will touch 1 Billion lives by 2030.

Vanco is excited to expand our Marketing team by adding a Director of Marketing Operations to help us grow our business. This role can be based in either our Bloomington, MN office, our Atlanta, GA Office, or Remote within the U.S. This individual will be responsible for the content creative and marketing technology teams - the development team that touches all projects across all markets and is the shared services engine to our marketing success.

This is a terrific role to spread your wings and make an impact. If you have been in a variety of functions on a B2B SaaS marketing team, and have a strong background in Marketing Operations, but experience in other marketing areas and want to broaden your leadership horizons, this might be the role for you. This role oversees our writers, designers, website development and marketing technology team, as well as ownership of our marketing technology itself, including chiefly HubSpot.


Requirements


What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead content, graphic design, video, website development and marketing operations & automation teams
  • Develop and support a high-performing team culture, appropriate to each group (content, creative, Marketing tech) that is passionate about and focused on developing professionally, honing their skills while executing on a high volume of creative marketing materials and campaigns.
  • Drive development, implementation, and refinement of consistent marketing processes that support and optimize performance of demand generation and digital marketing programs.
  • Utilize data-driven methodology, analysis, and measurement to improve effectiveness and efficiency of our performance channels.
  • Create a culture of relentless experimentation with different tactics and messaging, images and copy, to strike the balance between scale and cost efficiency.
  • Willing to do whatever and pitch in -- but has the awareness to let go and delegate to your team.
  • Lead a strong team, retain, and attract top talent, create or modify processes and build out a strong culture of data-driven marketing.
  • Leading content team to support concepting, creating and building content and campaigns designed to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Strong prioritization skills and strategic decision making to determine the highest impact near-term and long-term marketing opportunities.
  • Develop standards of excellence for creative and art direction with team leads
  • Embrace the creative process and work in a collaborative atmosphere with a team of creatives to ultimately create the best work and create the right solution for the ask and meeting deadlines.


Who you are:

  • 8+ years of team leadership & people management experience
  • Experience in roles of increasing responsibility with Marketing Technology and/or Leadership, with a proven track record in process improvement, data analytics, and technology implementation/management, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • 3+ years of experience directly using or overseeing marketing automation tool (HubSpot, Marketo, MailChimp, etc.) with priority given to HubSpot knowledge and HubSpot administrative experience or certifications.
  • Must have experience working with and leading projects for content & creative teams and be comfortable advising production team members on creative solutions to problems in these areas of focus
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written, communication, and storytelling skills
  • A positive leader with the ability to build and develop a team, focused on skill development and continual process improvement.
  • Willing to be a leader/doer
  • Exceptional prioritization and organization skills alongside strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Willingness to be deep in the details, rolling up your sleeves, while also being able to create and communicate higher level strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, digest, and speak to key business/marketing metrics and data points to a variety of stakeholders a plus
  • Experience with multi-touch attribution a strong plus.
